DATES
The official hacking and submission period runs from Friday, September 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM through Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM Central Time.
ELIGIBILITY
• The challenge is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence.
• Participants must register for the challenge and submit through Devpost.
• Participants may work individually or in teams.
PROJECT AND SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Projects must be substantially developed during the official hacking period.
• Existing open-source libraries, APIs, AI models, datasets, frameworks, and development tools may be used, but they must be disclosed in the submission.
• Submissions must be the participants’ own work and must not infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Projects and demonstrations must be safe, lawful, and suitable for a university community.
• All required Devpost fields and review materials must be completed before the submission deadline.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Participants are expected to create an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or harmful conduct is not permitted. Participants must follow Washington University policies, venue requirements, and organizer instructions throughout the event.
JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION
Projects will be reviewed through in-person demos and presentations. Finalists will be announced at 2:00 PM, finalist presentations will begin at 4:00 PM, and winners will be announced at 7:00 PM on September 27, 2026. All times are Central Time.
